Oh, Xanga blog....how I have missed thee...writing random crap that 3 people read.  What a glorious thing. 

So I'm sitting at work, the surprisingly loud buzz from horrendous fluorescent lighting will force me to turn on itunes or some other sort  of distraction momentarily.  Also, I'm eating oatmeal and drinking vanilla biscotti coffee out of the cutest little chipped mug.  If my office suddenly became alikened unto Beauty and the Beast, I would call him Chip.  The Bunn coffeemaker I assume Angela Landsbury would voice. 

Also, I'm on a mission from God.  Really wish I was wearing a black suit with a skinny tie right now.  He wants me to spearhead efforts to purchase a house, renovate it, and use it as a community faith center.  He has given me such a huge(!!!) vision for this.  But I'm learning more and more that I will not be able to do it on my own.  It's my job to tell certain people about it, and God will lead them to help.  I'm more or less the coordinator.  God's already told me it's done.  He's got it all worked out.  I just need to obey Him and walk in the way He's already laid out.  I've started out with baby steps, (this is where Dr. Leo Marvin's book would come in handy), but I'm starting to walk a little faster.  Soon though, I will be sailing....

In a couple of days I'm going to Wyoming for a couple of weeks.   It's vacation with the fam...but I'm so ready to get away from here!!!!   Actually I need to get away from one person in particular (it's not a hate thing I promise....), but also I need to get away from myself...that I may find once again that I am in God.  I'm hoping the open sky will clear my head. 

Here are a few thoughts/commands/wishes before I leave....

Go to The Call.  I am.  Seriously,...GO.

I will be stronger than I am. 

When you see the dreams of your friends coming true...there aren't words enough to describe how awesome.

I have a lot I need to accomplish today.  I will triumph.  Seriously,...a lot.

Went fishing last night for the first time in a couple years.  It was pretty much like I remembered it.  Stinky, wet and gross...but awesome.  It's very relaxing. :)

Also, pretty sure I'm starting a new church with some people.   Anybody wanna help?  I'm pretty jazzed about it.  More to come later...

I've decided to change the world.  Anybody interested in starting non-profit, multi-denominational, community-minded center of some sort?  

Vague?...yes.

New Blog!!!

This weekend I accomplished much.  Got a lot of painting and other work done on my house, thanks to my wonderful friends!!!  *shout out to Heath, Leslie, Meghan and Michelle!*  Also, I finally took down my Christmas tree and boxed up other such seasonal decorations.  Yes...take a few minutes to laugh and heckle me...I do realize it's April, but it's down now.   That whole front living room is still full of Christmas boxes (most of which aren't mine) that we just don't have room for.  Mom can't wait till I move out so she can use my room for storage. 

So now I'm trying to decide if I want to go ahead and redo the kitchen counters and floor while I'm at all this stuff.  That was always going to be the plan, but was just holding off.  But I kinda want to just go ahead and redo all of it while I'm at it.   They're just so ugly and hard to match!!!!  If you've seen 'em...you know.

In other news, I lost a bet last night.  I was actually going to get new countertops if I won.  Memphis!!!  Just couldn't pull it out could we?!?!?  Oh well, now I owe Michelle a tremendous amount of cheesecake.  Just call me the Cheesecake Factory.  First actual bet I've ever lost with her....sad times....

Life is going pretty good for me currently.  God seems to be leading me in different directions lately...and yet, they're very similar to what I've been doing.  It's like he's fine tuning the path I'm on.   We're getting rid of the rabbit trails.  Like with Sunday school...He didn't say quite teaching alltogether...He said quit teaching this one, and start teaching this other one.   Other areas seem to be lining up.  I finally truly believe that I'm where I'm supposed to be.  Can't say that I'll always be here, but for now...I'm here. 

I could ramble for much longer, but I don't really have the time...just pretended like I had the time to do this.  :)
